On November 28th, SONICA heads to London to join the celebration of the 5th anniversary of IKLECTIK, a creative platform for contemporary art, experimental music, and critical art, where we are curating a diverse program night with live performances, screenings, sound installations and an exhibition of artworks from the MoTA collection.

Avantgarde acoustic trio Širom who has been stirring up the domestic ethnomusic scene for some time and has established itself also beyond our borders is having a UK premiere of their current third album titled The World that Sleeps a Horse published by Glitterbeat’s sub-label tak:til, an album also noticed by the Guardian.

Live performance by French electronic musician and music artist Jessica Ekomane who lives and works in Berlin is promising catharsis with a tactile interchange of rhythmic structures and exchange of noise and melody. Jessica Ekomane is also one of Natascha Süder Happelmann collaborators for her installation at the German pavilion at this year Venice Biennale!
