MoTA and SONICA offer a scholarship opportunity to attend a 3-hour workshop with American electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani, who is performing at Kino Šiška on 20 October 2025.
The scholarship, dedicated to aspiring female, female-identifying and non-binary electronic music artists, is a unique opportunity to delve into the world of modular synthesis.
During the 3-hour workshop, Ciani will focus on her legendary Buchla cookbook from 1976, which continues to provide answers to some key questions of analog sound synthesis. Participants will download a rack patch for the free and open-source cross-platform software modular synthesizer VCV Rack, which will be used during the workshop. The workshop will be held in English.
