MoTA, SONICA Festival and Kino Šiška present a workshop with American electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani dedicated to aspiring female, female-identifying and non-binary electronic music artists. Suzanne Ciani is performing at Kino Šiška on 20 October 2025.
During the 3-hour workshop, Ciani will focus on her legendary Buchla cookbook from 1976, which continues to provide answers to some key questions of analog sound synthesis.
Participants will download a rack patch for the free and open-source cross-platform software modular synthesizer VCV Rack, which will be used during the workshop. In your application, you must include your CV and a motivational letter. Based on the CV and motivational letter, the festival team will pick 15 participants. You can apply at sonica@motamuseum.com.
