Audiovisual performance
Japanese noise artist Takami Nakamoto, one half of SHAPE‘s Nonotak, has joined forces with French drummer Sebastien Benoits to create Nonotak flavored spatial graphic art with a sonic upgrade. Their collaboration has resulted in Reflections, an audiovisual performance without screens and projectors. A smoke-filled, sound-intense, stroboscopic lights, LEDs and 32 light sticks riddled answer to the question about the architecture of noise.
In their live audiovisual performances, the French-Japanese duo Nonotak, composed of artists and musicians Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto, are blurring the boundaries between virtual and real space by integrating melodic glitchy experimental techno with screenings mapped on geometrical structures spreading across several screens. Part visual art installations, part electronic music concerts, their creations with titles like Daydream, Isotopes or Dream Collapse, are spectacles of their own kind, universes of sound metamorphoses that are easy to get lost in.

In 2016, Nonotak is part of Shape Platform for Innovative Music and Audiovisual Art, which is co-founded by the Creative Europe Programme.
